Will the participants who are not from the US or Canada be awarded cash prizes should they win anything? If so, then how will that even work?

I am asking as I am from Pakistan and so is my team, and this has been an issue for us before.

  Hi Muhammad. Participants outside of the U.S. may receive a cash equivalent, if prizes cannot be shipped to the country of residence. In that case, ELC will mail out paper checks directly to addresses provided by those participants.

  Hi John, it says in the rules section that "To be eligible for prizes over $600 USD in value, participant must have a Social Security Number (SSN), To be eligible for prizes over $600 USD in value, participant must have a Social Security Number (SSN), Tax Identification Number (TIN), or National Identification Number. (TIN), or National Identification Number." - do these refer to general national ID from any country or is it country-specific?
